Remote Repair Service

Many problems can be fixed remotely without having to physically travel to an onsite location. Ultimately convenient and efficient for customer and technician alike this is a great way to get things fixed quickly at a minimum cost of time and money.

Remote access allows me to view and control your desktop from another location. By communicating through chat or other means I can make a quick diagnosis and give you an estimate for repairing your computer. If you accept the estimate I can take over your desktop and perform the agreed upon work while you watch. You can break the connection and retake control of your system at anytime if needed - or just sit back and enjoy as your computer magically repairs itself in front of your very eyes.

Cost - $20 for initial 15 minute connection and system repair - $20 per 15 minute increment thereafter.

Procedure for using remote access repair service:

Please contact me via phone or email to schedule a time for the remote repair session. I try to make myself available on Skype so that we can have verbal and written communication alongside the remote desktop session.

For Windows-based pc's you can use the Remote Assistance function to send a help request to me. This requires no additional setup and is an easy way to enable me to view your desktop and take control if you allow it.

For Apple Macintosh systems you can connect and allow screen sharing using iChat or several other third-party programs. Macs do not have a built-in system for generating a remote help request that is quite as convenient as Windows Remote Assistance. Please contact me in advance if you need remote help with an Apple system.
