OUR RATES:
On The Spot Computer Service offers a standard 10% discount
on our hourly service rates to seniors as well as educational
and non-profit organizations. Our mission is to provide
quality onsite repair for residential and business customers
in the Linn/Benton area.
Onsite repair
service or pickup/dropoff is subject to a $60.00 minimum
charge. This amount will be applied toward your first hour
of troubleshooting/repair. The following hourly rates apply
depending on what type of work you need done:
Software
installation and troubleshooting is billed at a rate of
$30.00 per hour. Services that fall under this category
include virus and malware removal, general system optimization and our
tutoring service.
Hardware
installation and troubleshooting, operating system installations
and data backup/restoration are billed at a rate of $60.00
per hour.
Network
installations and troubleshooting are billed at a rate of
$75.00 per hour.
Audio/Visual
recording and conversion services are
billed at a rate of $30.00 per hour.
Typical Charges:
Windows reinstall/crash recovery
- $60 - 90 depending on complexity
System tuneup/cleanup
- $60 - includes full Windows and application updates, virus/spyware/firewall
check and more
Backup/restore
data - $60 per hour
Example 1:
Your computer requires virus/spyware removal and a general
tuneup. One hour of software troubleshooting, sixty dollar
minimum service charge. Onsite or pickup/dropoff service.
Example 2:
Your power supply needs replacing. One hour of hardware
repair, sixty dollars total labor charge (parts cost additional).
